Top 5 Tuesday; Books Set in My Own Country

Today I decided I wanted to take part in Top 5 Tuesday hosted by Bionic Book Worm. The theme of the week was books set in my own country and in my case it's Norway.

I was a bit torn between choosing books that were written in or translated into English versus having no language restrictions as there's plenty of books in Norwegian that hasn't been translated into other languages, but I ended up choosing books in English, just in case anyone would be interested in reading any of them.

My picks are;

The Odin Mission by James Holland

The Twistrose Key by Tone Almhjell

Out Stealing Horses by Per Petterson

Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder

The Ice Palace by Tarjei Vesaas

    1. You're welcome, though I might add that James Holland is British, but has written a book set in Norway. :-)
