Friday Face Off; "A Horse, A Horse, My Kingdom For A Horse"


It's Friday and today I decided to participate in Friday Face Off, hosted by Lynn's Books and the theme of the week was a cover featuring a king.

Personally, I chose the novel "The Kitchen Boy" by Robert Alexander, which tells about the last tsar and his family around the time when they were executed by the communists.

They're all pretty in their own right, especially since they use historical photographs, but I struggle to choose between number one and three.

    What a superb choice! And a heartbreak... For me it's the third one featuring the girls as well. I just wish the text box was less intrusive.

Announcing the 2022 Diversity Reading Challenge

As we're writing 2022 in two months, I figured out it was time to announce the 2022 Diversity Challenge. I've hosted it in 2019 and 2021, and decided to host it next year too. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it.
