As Halloween is approaching pretty fast, I figured out it was rather fitting writing a list of book recommendations for middle grade books one could read for Halloween. I would suspect there's some middle grade kids out there who likes to read and want to read something Halloween-themed, so why not? There's a lot of summer-themed cosy mysteries out there, and as it's summer at the moment and lots of people want to read, I wanted to share a few book recommendations. As it's summer and lots of people are in search of summer reads, I figured out I could write a couple of lists with book recommendations. It's Caribbean Heritage Month in June, so it's only fair I write a book recommendations list, especially as I host the  2022 Diversity Reading Challenge . I can admit that I haven't read that many books by Caribbean authors, so I'm guilty as charged there. Fortunately I've at least read a few books, and here comes the list of six books that I enjoyed reading. It's Pride month and considering the fact that I'm a lesbian demifluid, I couldn't resist writing a list of book recommendations for this month. I decided focusing on YA titles, as there's so many books to choose from, that I had to narrow it down a wee bit. Anyway, here's my ten picks. As it is Dracula Day and I'm a bit of a Dracula/vampire geek, it's pretty obvious that I had to write a list of book recommendations for today. So in honour of Dracula Day, here's five books to pick up if you're into vampires (and of course I'm listing Dracula).
