Top Five Wednesday; Korean/Korean-American Fiction/Nonfiction

It's Wednesday and perhaps time for a new Top Five Wednesday post, courtesy of the Goodreads group with the same name. The theme of the week was Korean/Korean-American Fiction/Nonfiction. Due to the fact that I've read few books, both from South and North Korea, I've written a list that contains both countries.

Anyway, here's my picks.

The Vegetarian by Han Kang

The Dog Who Dared to Dream by Sun-Mi Hwang

Please Look After Mom by Kyung-Sook Shin

The Accusation: Forbidden Stories from Inside North Korea by Bandi

A Thousand Miles to Freedom: My Escape from North Korea by Eunsun Kim
