Top Ten Tuesday; Favourite Books I've Read in 2020
It's the final Tuesday of 2020 and time for the final Top Ten Tuesday of the year, courtesy of That Artsy Reader Girl. Fittingly, the theme of the week was favourite books I've read in 2020.
That said, it was hard to pick as I've read so many good books this year, that the ten I've listed is just ten of my favourites.
Here's my picks.
The Occupation by Deborah Swift
The Conjurer by Luanne G. Smith
You Are Invited by Sarah A. Denzil
The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead
The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden
Hanging Falls by Margaret Mizushima
The Little Bookshop of Love Stories by Jaimie Admans
Scythe by Neal Shusterman
Stoner by John Williams
Cooking for Ghosts by Patricia V. Davis
Girl in the Tower was great! I loved the whole Winternight Trilogy and love love love Vasya!! These were my favourite reads of 2020 if you wanted to check them out! Have a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI can't deny the whole Winternight trilogy was awesome and I love Vasya too. :-)
DeleteThe Conjurer looks awesome, and of course, I see Arden on your list too. Haven't read any of these, but adding them all to my TBR. Happy TTT and Happy 2021 in advance!

ReplyDeleteMy post.
It's a fun book, part of a trilogy. :-)
DeleteI read Scythe a few years ago and enjoyed it but still haven't got around to the other two books! Really need to change that!

If it's to any comfort, I've only read Scythe too. :-P
DeleteI felt the same way about curating my list for this week, too. But I'm very happy to see that The Little Bookshop of Love Stories made your list. I really enjoyed that one.
ReplyDeleteIt was seriously hard to choose this week. The Little Bookshop of Love Stories was such a fun read. :-)
DeleteScythe is one of my all-time favorites. I still need to read the third book. Happy 2021!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't read the second book. :-P Happy 2021 to you too. :-)
