Top Ten Tuesday; 10 Diverse Books I'm Thankful I've Read

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for a new Top Ten Tuesday post, courtesy of That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme of the week was a Thanksgiving/Thankful freebie, so I decided to write a list of 10 diverse books I'm thankful I've read (no offense to white, straight Christian male authors of course).

My picks are;
African-American Poetry - An Anthology, 1773-1927

Native American Songs and Poems - An Anthology

Does My Head Look Big in This? by Randa Abdel-Fattah

We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness by Nagata Kabi

The Mistress of Spices by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni

Fullblood Arabian by Osama Alomar

The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead

An Unnecessary Woman by Rabih Alameddine

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur

  2. I’ve read a Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie book and really liked it. I recently won Americanah in a giveaway. Hopefully I’ll like that one, too.
