My Favourite... Hobby Next To Reading

It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new My Favourite... post thanks to Maureen's Books and the theme of the week was favourite hobby next to reading.


Apart from reading and being a huge coffee drinker, some of my favourite hobbies includes knitting, cooking and baking. The benefit of baking is of course that sometimes I end up having yummy treats to eat while reading.

    I love the baking bit. :) I don't enjoy it myself, but I do love a good snack while reading!

    Knitting! I can knit, but barely. I love how knitting looks. Even simple patterns look so beautiful. Unfortunately I am painfully slow.

      If it's to any comfort, I do struggle knitting "fancy" patterns, like Selbu mittens.

    LOL!! That sounds great. I love cooking too. I rarely bake, but I do enjoy it. Our oven isn't that good, so when I do bake things they don't always come out good.

Announcing the 2022 Diversity Reading Challenge

As we're writing 2022 in two months, I figured out it was time to announce the 2022 Diversity Challenge. I've hosted it in 2019 and 2021, and decided to host it next year too. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it.
