Top Ten Tuesday; Ten Well Written Villains

It's Tuesday and time for a new Top Ten Tuesday post, courtesy of That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme of the week was villains and I decided to write a list of ten well written ones.

My list includes;
Voldremort from the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling
The White Witch from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis
Queen of Hearts from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
Dracula from the novel with the same name by Bram Stoker
Captain Nemo from 20.000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
Kurtz from Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad
Claude Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo
The murderer from Redemption Road by John Hart (not going to give the name due to spoilers)
The villain from The Reading Buddy by Bryce Gibson (not going to give the name due to spoilers)
Edvard Munch in Vampyr by Steffen Kverneland

  1. I like that you included some classics. I’ve actually read a lot of these. Great choices!

    1. Thanks. :-) I feel there's a lot of well written villains, and characters in general, in the classics.
