Top Ten Tuesday; Books to Pull You Out of a Reading Slump

It's Tuesday and time for a new Top Ten Tuesday post, courtesy of That Artsy Reader Girl and the theme of the week was books to pull you out of a reading slump. I decided narrowing it down to books under 200 pages (depending on the edition), as I know that I personally feel a bit intimidated by heavy duty doorstopper books when I'm in a reading slump (so no 800+ pages by Charles Dickens on this list).

My picks are;

The Woman in Black by Susan Hill

The Ghost, The Owl by Franco

The Red Shoes by Laura Erwin

Finding Molly - An Adventure in Catsitting by Justine Prado and Jenn St. Onge

Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen

The Baby on the Back Porch by Lucia N. Davis

We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamamda Ngozi Adichie

Pains and Penalties by Sarah Biglow

Train Dreams by Denis Johnson

Jaybird by Jaakko Ahonen and Lauri Ahonen

  4. Short books are great for busting slumps. (And for catching up on Goodreads goals.)
