Review; The Time for Murder Is Meow (Purr N' Bark Pet Shop Mystery #1) by T.C. LoTempio

Last year I was fortunate enough to recieve an ARC of the cosy mystery The Time for Murder Is Meow (Purr N' Bark Pet Shop Mystery #1) by T.C. LoTempio through Netgalley. I read it shortly afterwards, but I haven't published my review until now.

Crishell "Shell" McMillan sees the cancellation of her TV series as a blessing in disguise. The former actress can now take over her late aunt's pet shop, the Purr N' Bark, and do something she loves.

While getting the shop ready for re-opening, Shell is asked to loan her aunt's Cary Grant posters to the local museum for an exhibit. She finds the prospect exciting--until a museum board member, who had a long-standing feud with Shell's aunt, votes against it. When she discovers the board member dead in the museum, Shell becomes suspect number one. Can she, her Siamese cat Kahlua, and her new sidekick--her aunt's Persian Purrday--find the real culprit, or will her latest career go up in kitty litter?

My Thoughts on the Book
This was a fun start of a new book series. I loved several of the characters, especially Kahlua and Purrday for obvious reasons. The story itself is well plotted with several clues and suspects which made it more interesting.

I read the horror novel The Prettiest Girl in the Grave by Kristopher Triana earlier this year and today I'll post my review of the book. Annoncing the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge

As it's 2023 in less than two months, I figured out it was time to annouce the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it.
