Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge; Favourite Poems

It's Wednesday and time for a new Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge, courtesy of Long and Short Reviews. The theme of the week was favourite poems, short stories and novellas. I decided to focus on poems.

Aside from The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, here is three of my favourite poems.

  4. Yes, the Raven has always been hands down one of my favourite poems. I don't know you're other choices, thanks for sharing them! I really like the one by Rupi Kaur. Feels appropriate right now.

I posted about short stories because - until I started reading everyone elses posts - I thought I wasn't really a poem person! Everyone seems to be changing my mind.

    1. I can't deny that the Rupi Kaur poem is kind of fitting at the moment. If it's to any comfort, not everyone likes poetry and sometimes one come across the right poem at the right time in order to potentially enjoy them.

  6. It's awesome to meet new poems through this challenge. I love all three of your choices. The first is romantic. The second is written in a style I get lost in. The third is poignant. As for The Raven, it has always been one of my favorites.

I also chose poetry this week: https://thereikicafe.com/2020/06/10/favorite-poem-wednesday-weekly-blogging-challenge/
