Confessions of a Bookseller by Shaun Bythell


5. Biggest disappointment?
The Clockmaker's Daughter by Kate Morton as it was so confusing.


6. Biggest Surprise?
Dutch Girl: Audrey Hepburn and World War II by Robert Matzen.


7. Favorite new to you or debut author?
One of my favourite new to me authors were Angie Thomas with the book The Hate U Give.


8. Newest fictional crush?
Grace O'Leary from The Hocus Pocus Magic Shop by Abigail Drake (yes, I'm bisexual, deal with it).


9. Newest favorite character?
Merlin from Magickal Mystery Lore by Sharon Pape.


10. Book that made you cry?
A Daughter's Courage by Renita D'Silva


11. Book that made you happy?
Wooing the Farmer by Jenny Frame


12. Favorite book to film adaptation?
I haven't watched any book to movie adaptions this year.

13. Favorite post you have done this year?
One of my favourite posts this year has been the Top 5 “Unputdownable” African Reads.

14. Most beautiful book you have bought this year?
I haven't purchased it, but I recieved a press copy of a Norwegian novel called "Jeg vet meg et land" by Victoria Bø.


15. What books do you need to read by the end of the year?
Haunted Rails: Tales of Ghost Trains, Phantom Conductors, and Other Railroad Spirits by Matthew L. Swayne


Wrapping things up:
I've read a lot of fun and interesting books so far this year and there is yet a lot to come.

    1. It's a really fun tag. Feel free to look out for Confessions of a Bookseller, especially as it's the sequel of the author's first book (Diary of a Bookseller).
