My Favourite... Audiobook

(This post contains affiliate links.)

It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new My Favourite... post thanks to Maureen's Books and the theme of the week was favourite audiobook.

I must admit that as I'm a quick reader, I've struggled a bit with the (slower) pace of audiobooks and therefore hasn't gotten that much into them, but one audiobook that I've managed to get through and actually like was the BBC full cast dramatisation of Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman and some of the people in this dramatisation includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Natalie Dormer and Christopher Lee.

  1. I don't tend to enjoy full cast narrations as much as a single narrator, but with a cast that good, I might have to make an exception.

    1. I usually don't like audio books AT ALL, so for me, Neverwhere is really an exception.

  3. I have to really focus when listening to audiobooks. It's so easy for me to tune out. I think I've only had single narrators and once dual narrators, not a full cast.

    1. I'm one of those tuning out as well, which is part of the reason why I have issues with audiobooks. I almost envy those who actually manage to pay attention.

  4. I haven't listened to that one. But I do get what your saying about the pace. I've listened to a view audiobooks in this last year, but somehow I still can't really seem to love it as much as I would have liked.
Thanks for signing up and sharing your favorite.

  5. I'll have to check this one out. Maybe I won't tune out if there are more people speaking.
