Book Tag; The Book Snob Tag

I came across The Book Snob Tag over at Musings of a Book Girl and I decided to play along.

Adaptation Snob: Do you always read the book before you see the movie?
Most of the time, yes, but there's exceptions, such as Chocolat by Joanne Harris.

Format Snob: You can only choose one format in which to read books for the rest of your life. Which one do you choose: physical books, ebooks, or audiobooks?
Physical books.

Ship Snob: Would you date or marry a non-reader?
Maybe, if they had other mutual interests.

Genre Snob: You have to ditch one genre – never to be read again for the rest of your life. Which one do you ditch?
Romance.

Uber Genre Snob: You can only choose to read from one genre for the rest of your life. Which genre do you choose?
Either fantasy or down the line of mystery/crime.

Community Snob: Which genre do you think receives the most snobbery from the bookish community?
Based on my own experiences, I would say probably fantasy or horror.

Snobbery Recipient: Have you ever been snubbed for something that you have been reading or for reading in general?
Don't even get me started on all the crap I've got for loving to read horror.

I read the horror novel The Prettiest Girl in the Grave by Kristopher Triana earlier this year and today I'll post my review of the book. Annoncing the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge

As it's 2023 in less than two months, I figured out it was time to annouce the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it. As it is a diversity reading challenge, it would be mean to exclude some types of reading materials, right? Now, what is diversity you might ask?
