My Favourite... Website To Shop For Books

(This post contains affiliate links.)

It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new My Favourite... post thanks to Maureen's Books and the theme of the week was favourite website to shop for books.

My favourite website is Book Depository, because not only do they have an okay selection of books, but they also have free shipping. The latter does of couse mean that there's more money for books and who can protest towards that?

I'm also lucky enough to be part of their affiliate program, which means that every time someone purchase anything from any of my affiliate links, I do get a few bucks for it with no extra charge for the customer.

  1. I use Book Depository if I'm sending a book internationally, but for myself, I usually choose Amazon.com.

    1. If Amazon.com is more convinient for you, I don't blame you for doing it. :-)

  2. I have never used Book Depository for books before, but I am always looking for a bargain! (I don't read much physical books anymore, but my kids prefer them, so I'm still buying them!)

  3. I use Book Depository if I'm shipping books internationally. Otherwise, I use Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

    1. I've heard so much good stuff about B&N I'm almost envious of those who has the chance of using that store.

  4. I don't like the book depository. Their customer service isn't bad but the time it takes for my books to arrive is terrible. They also don't have kindle books so I use Amazon

    1. I don't have a kindle, so for me it's more convinient using Book Depository, esp. as I recieve books from them quicker (max. 2 weeks) than from Amazon.com (up to 2 months).

  5. So true. I love Book Depository too. Especially when shipping fees are expensive on other sites.
Thanks for signing up and sharing your favorite.

    1. That's part of the reason why I love Book Depository too. Not only are they cheaper in terms of shipping fees, but as they are located in the UK, I usually recieve the books max. 2 weeks after I've placed the order, versus the 6-8 weeks I need to wait for Amazon.com orders (plus the shipping costs).
