Book Blogger Hop; Creepy, Yet Not Horror

It's perhaps time for another Book Blogger Hop post courtesy of Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer and today's topic is "Are there any books that you find particularly creepy or unpleasant, even if they aren't horror novels?".

For me, it's reading non-fiction about WWII, especially the death camps. Although I've got a weak spot for horror and paranormal fiction, nothing is so scary and spine-chilling as reading about the Nazis treatment of Jews and other so-called "unwanted people".
