Review; The Woods by Rob Hodgson

A while ago, I was fortunate enough to recieve an ARC of the picture book The Woods by Rob Hodgson through Netgalley. I recently read it and today I'll post my review.

Here are the woods. The woods are home to three foxes on a hunt for rabbits. Three foxes that don’t realize someone might be following them… From the author of The Cave, this is a fantastically funny cat-and-mouse (or fox-and-rabbit) story with a not-so-fluffy twist.

The foxes follow some helpful signs over the tallest trees, under the carrot fields, and through the pumpkin patch, but there’s no sign of any rabbits. What on earth has happened to them? And why are there strange eyes following them from the trees?

Children will love outwitting the foxes—who continually say, "No rabbits here"—by spotting the rabbits in each colorful illustration.

My Thoughts on the Book
The Woods is a charming and a bit funny picture book with some amazing artwork. It was fun to read about the mischievous foxes.

I read the horror novel The Prettiest Girl in the Grave by Kristopher Triana earlier this year and today I'll post my review of the book. Annoncing the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge

As it's 2023 in less than two months, I figured out it was time to annouce the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it.
