Book Blogger Hop; First Book I Read By Myself

It's Friday and perhaps time for a new Book Blogger Hop post, courtesy of Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. The question of the week was "Do you remember the first book you read by yourself?".


I can't remember the exact first book I read by myself, but I do remember that I really enjoyed Rubber Tarzan by Ole Lund Kirkegaard around the time when I first learned to read by myself.

    Same here - I can't remember the first book I independently read, but I can remember some of the ones that I fell in love with when I was able to read by myself. It's a really tough question, so kudos to those who do remember!

Announcing the 2022 Diversity Reading Challenge

As we're writing 2022 in two months, I figured out it was time to announce the 2022 Diversity Challenge. I've hosted it in 2019 and 2021, and decided to host it next year too. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it.
