Book Blogger Hop; Celebrating Blog Anniversary

It's Friday and time for a new Book Blogger Hop post, courtesy of Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. The question of the week was "Do you have celebrations for your blog's anniversary, such as a giveaway?".
I played with the thought of doing one when I had the five years anniversary back in July 2017, but it didn't happen. It's might worth mentioning that at least I had a Christmas giveaway last year, but not it was not anniversary related.

    Christmas giveaways are a lot of fun! Personally, my head is fit to bursting at that time of year so I just don't have the organisational skills to anything extra in the lead up to the holidays.

    I have held giveaways quite a few times, especially in my early years of blogging, but only two for my actual anniversary. I hope you have a great weekend!

    Honestly, I never thought of doing an anniversary giveaway. How did you plan and launch the Christmas giveaway?

      I hosted the Christmas giveaway on the FB fanpage. It wasn't overkill much planning really as I figured out a book and some yummy coffee would suffice. I ended up ordering the coffee and got my hands on a press copy of a book.

Announcing the 2025 Diversity Reading Challenge

Even though I'm technically having a hiatus for my book blogging at the moment, I still wanted to announce the 2025 Diversity Reading Challenge, just in case anyone wanted to participate in it and start planning their TBR pile. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it. As it is a diversity reading challenge, it would be mean to exclude some types of reading materials, right? Now, what is diversity you might ask?
