Book Blogger Hop; Overextending Myself on Reviews?

It's Friday and time for a new Book Blogger Hop post, thanks to Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. The question of the week was "Do you overextend yourself with too many reviews because you can't pass up a book in hopes you will get them all done or do you carefully plan and be sure you can fulfill the deadlines for all the promised reviews?".

It may have happened that I did overextend myself a little bit where I ended up reading a bit in panic the last couple of days before I was going to hit "publish" on a book blog tour post. I might add that I have learned from those mistakes a bit, but I'm still a bit backlogged in terms of book reviews on advanced reading copies from publishers and I know that I probably need to read those last ones. The quote "too many books and too little time to read" fits me rather good at times.

  1. I've learnt from my past mistakes too. I don't get a ton of ARCs so I'm not too bad on that front. It's true, there is definitely never enough time to read all the awesome books out there.

  2. Too many books and too little time is sadly often the case, though I try to be reasonable in how many I request.

    1. I try to be reasonable in how many I request, but unfortunately there's sometimes the case of a lot of interesting books being published at the same time. :-S

  3. That is frightening when you know there is a deadline and you rush to meet it.

Perfect saying about too many books and too little time.

Hope your weekend is a good one.

    1. It's slightly frightening, but with a little planning, it usually works out. :-)

  4. Always too many books and too little time... Even when you curb the review copies. :)
