Omtale; A Child's Christmas in Wales av Dylan Thomas

For å komme i litt julestemning, bestemte jeg meg for å lese barneboka "A Child's Christmas in Wales" av Dylan Thomas, med illustrasjoner av Edward Ardizzone.

På litt under 50 sider, er boka kjapp og lese, i tillegg til at den er til tider noe sjarmerende. Forfatteren forteller om sin egen barndoms jul i en walisisk by og det er muligheter for å komme litt i julestemning når en leser denne boka.

"And then a small, dry voice, like the voice of someone who has not spoken for a long time, joined our singing: a small, dry, eggshell voice from the other side of the door: a small voice through the keyhole."
