Book Tag; All About Halloween Book Tag

I came across the All About Halloween Book Tag over at Unwrapping Words and I decided to play along as it's soon Halloween.

What are your favourite Halloween movies?
I rarely watch any movies in general, but you can't go wrong with the classic horror movie Halloween after all.

What is your favourite Halloween book?
That has to be The Long Shadows of October by Kristopher Triana for me.

What other Halloween books would you recommend?
A few others worth mentioning are Halloween: A Collection of Short Stories by Matt Shaw, Small Spaces by Katherine Arden and This is Halloween by James A. Moore. Small Spaces may not be a "proper" Halloween book, but the cover and the story has a bit of an autumn vibe to it.

Do you own any Halloween ugly sweaters?
Sadly not, but I really want one, so if anyone knows of any stores selling Halloween ugly sweaters that ship to Norway, feel free to let me know.

What are some of your favourite Halloween costumes?
Honestly, I kind of like them all, especially as Halloween isn't that big in the seaside town where I live, so any costume is a good one really. Heck, in the four years I've been living here, not a single kid or teen has come trick or treating at my house, which makes my Halloween lover's heart a bit sad.

What are you doing for Halloween this year?
As mentioned above, Halloween is sadly not that big in the town where I live, but I may put up a couple of decorations, watch a spooky movie, and have some treats ready just in case there's a few trick or treaters that comes around.

What is your favourite childhood Halloween memory?
Halloween was barely a thing here in Norway when I was a kid, so I have few memories of it, aside from two friends and I trying to do trick or treating one year. Sadly, we were met by more cranky/pissed off adults than anything else.

As we're writing 2022 in two months, I figured out it was time to announce the 2022 Diversity Challenge. I've hosted it in 2019 and 2021, and decided to host it next year too. Top Ten Tuesday; Reasons Why I Love Being a Book Blogger

It's Tuesday again and time for a new Top Ten Tuesday post, courtesy of  That Artsy Reader Girl . The theme of the week was reasons why I love X and I decided writing about why I love being a book blogger. 1) It gives me an outlet for my book passion 2) It gives me an excuse to read (not that I need an excuse of course) 3) The perk of recieving press copies from authors and publishers 4) The nice comments from authors when they've seen I've written a nice review of one of their books 5) Being part of the book blogger/bookish community, even if it has some flaws 6) Having a platform where I can raise awareness about diversity from time to time (and other issues related to books/literature) 7) Connecting with other book lovers 8) Discovering all the amazing books that's out there 9) Dabbling with Bookstagram 10) Getting inspiration, both in terms of books to read, but also book merch to buy, topics to talk about, etc.
