Book Tag; The Spooky Would You Rather Book Tag

I came across The Spooky Would You Rather Book Tag over at Alli the Book Giraffe and as I love autumn and Halloween, I couldn't resist doing this tag.

Anyway, over to the actual tag.

THRILLERS OR SUPERNATURALS
Even though I enjoy both, I'd say supernaturals.

GHOSTS OR ZOMBIES
Ghosts, hands down. I honestly find it more creepy than zombies.

VAMPIRES OR WEREWOLVES
As my favourite book of all time is Bram Stoker's Dracula, I suspect it's a no-brainer that I'll say vampires.

WITCHES OR DEMONS
I've read more books about witches than demons, so I'd say witches.

WOULD YOU RATHER READ A BOOK WITH 13 CHAPTERS OR READ A BOOK WITH A BLACK CAT ON THE COVER?
As I love black cats, I wouldn't mind reading a book with a black cat on the cover.

WOULD YOU RATHER READ A SPOOKY BOOK IN THE DARK WITH ONLY A CANDLE FOR LIGHT OR BY YOURSELF IN A LOCKED BRIGHTLY LIT ROOM?
As I don't like brightly lit rooms, I'd go for the dark room with only a candle for light.

WOULD YOU RATHER FACE YOUR WORST FEARS OR BE TRAPPED IN THE MIND OF A KILLER?
Somehow, I suspect it'd be less traumatising facing my worst fears.

WOULD YOU RATHER WATCH A SCARY MOVIE OR READ A SCARY BOOK?
As I can watch the movie adaption of The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty without being creeped out (and I know a lot of people can't watch it), I would probably read a scary book instead.

WOULD YOU RATHER READ SPOOKY BOOKS DURING THE FALL TIME OR ALL YEAR?
All year, please. Don't get me wrong, I love reading spooky books during the autumn, but if I want to read a horror book in the spring, nothing is going to stop me.

WOULD YOU RATHER READ 10 SPOOKY BOOKS IN OCTOBER OR 10 SPOOKY BOOKS ALL YEAR??
All year, please.

I read the horror novel The Prettiest Girl in the Grave by Kristopher Triana earlier this year and today I'll post my review of the book. Annoncing the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge

As it's 2023 in less than two months, I figured out it was time to annouce the 2023 Diversity Reading Challenge. I’m not going to make any categories or levels for this challenge, as I want it to be a bit flexible. Read as many books as you feel like reading and yes, it can be children’s books, graphic novels, e-books, non-fiction, audio books, poetry and you-name-it. As it is a diversity reading challenge, it would be mean to exclude some types of reading materials, right? Now, what is diversity you might ask?
